Crosby Studios Founder, Harry Nuriev, has teamed up with fashion giant H&M for a captivating pop-up installation in Paris during Fashion Week 2023. Known for his fusion of fashion and design in his furniture and installations, Nuriev has created an immersive scenography at the Galerie du Temple, open to the public from September 26th to 30th.

The centerpiece of the installation is a life-sized red velvet jewel box, adorned with reflective surfaces and benches, setting the stage for H&M’s collaboration. Nuriev has incorporated H&M’s recognizable red shade throughout the sculptures and installations, showcasing the brand’s FW23 collection alongside archival fashion designs spanning a decade.

Inside the installation, visitors can explore H&M’s collections from the past 10 years using a library-like structure created by Nuriev. The push-to-open vertical cabinets resemble the spines of books, with each container engraved with the corresponding collection’s year. The space is bathed in the red hue, reflected through glossy surfaces and illuminated by soft white beams.

Moving further into the installation, visitors can enter the life-sized red jewel box, providing a mini theater experience. Here, they can watch H&M’s campaign film while immersing themselves in the ambiance of a jewelry box. Exiting the installation, guests will be met with H&M Studio’s FW23 collection, accompanied by black and white water-droplet graphics on the floor, creating a striking contrast.

At the center of the gallery, visitors can watch H&M’s campaign film, and as they conclude their visit, the last space features an installation incorporating video projections and digital elements. Nuriev explains that Crosby Studios designed a futuristic capsule entirely in red as a nod to H&M’s logo shade. This central installation takes viewers on a journey, with a metallic backdrop adorned with water droplet-shaped prints, presenting the collection in a bold and unexpected way.

The collaboration between Harry Nuriev, Crosby Studios, and H&M showcases the seamless integration of fashion and design, providing an immersive and visually captivating experience for visitors.
