Celebrities have recently become meta’s new AI chatbots, allowing users to chat with their favorite famous personalities. Meta has created 28 virtual chatbots in the form of realistic alter egos, including Paris Hilton (called Amber), Snoop Dogg (known as Dungeon Master), and Kendall Jenner (called Billie). These chatbots can be accessed through popular messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.

Each alter ego has a specific role as a chatbot. For example, Paris Hilton is the user’s detective partner for solving whodunnits, Snoop Dogg helps choose the user’s adventure as the Dungeon Master, and Kendall Jenner provides advice as a Big Sister with a ride-or-die approach.

However, Meta cautions that these chatbots are still in the early stages of development. Their knowledge base, aside from Meta AI, Bru, and Perry, is limited to information that existed before 2023. This means that some responses may not be updated. Meta plans to expand the search capabilities of the chatbots in the future to ensure timely and relevant conversations.

To enhance the users’ interaction with these famous AI chatbots, Meta has created profiles for them on Instagram and Facebook. This allows fans to explore their digital personas and learn more about their cultural influence. The beta version of the Meta AI chatbots was released on September 27th, 2023, in the US, and Meta plans to add new characters in the coming weeks, including Bear Grylls, Chloe Kim, and Josh Richards.

The introduction of these celebrity AI chatbots provides an exciting opportunity for users to engage with their favorite personalities and seek their guidance. As Meta continues to develop and expand its AI technology, the possibilities for interactive and personalized experiences in the digital world are endless.
